Assoc. Prof. Dr. Decha Wiwatwittaya is a lecturer at the Department of Forest Biology, Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, who graduated with a doctorate in forest entomology at Kyoto University, Japan.
He has more than 30 years of research experience, studying and researching ants for more than 25 years in the areas of taxonomy, biology, ecology, behavior and application. He is considered the pioneer of serious ant study in Thailand and the founder of the Ant Museum at the Faculty of Forestry in 2001. He has also helped solve problems caused by ants for the general public, hospitals, and more than 100 companies and stores.
